Reiki is simple to learn and has been successfully taught to thousands of people all over the world, by a simple set of procedures passed down from teacher to student as taught by Dr. Usui. Although not taught in the usual sense, Reiki is transferred via an “attunement” which allows you to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy”, improving your health and enhancing the quality of your life and those you share it with.

Being initiated into Reiki; stimulates your inner world bringing awareness & personal growth; awakens your intuition and activates the power to heal yourself & others.

All participants receive a detailed Reiki manual, 1st and 2nd degree initiations, practice and receive a Reiki healing and are awarded a certificate upon completion.

History or Reiki

The art of channeling energy through the hands for healing has been practiced and taught for thousands of years by many great Masters such as Jesus and Buddha.

Japanese Theologian, Dr Mikao Usui, rediscovered this art of healing in the late 1800’s and called it Reiki.

Pronounced ‘ray-key’ meaning:

Rei – Universal (God consciousness, all knowing),
Ki – life force energy.

Universal life force energy, the unseen power which causes us to be alive. It is the energy that flows through each and every one of us and though all living things. This energy is intelligent (all knowing) and cannot be manipulated. Reiki works whether you believe in it or not. It is not a religion, it is not a dogma and there is nothing you must do or believe in, in order to receive, use or learn Reiki.

Reiki is effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Studies have shown that Reiki slows the brainwaves, therebyhelping to release unwanted stresses from the body, the inner organs and the mind. Reiki is holistic, treating the whole person; body, mind, spirit and emotions.
